Commercial Carriers Conceal Data

Commercial carriers conceal incomes. For this purpose they deceive vehicle tracking by disconnection a tachograph and other recording equipment. In particular, over forty cases of such violation has been registered in Ulyanovsk. Transport sets out on a trip with disconnected GLONASS system, vehicle tracking system does not cope with violators’ detection.

To prevent law violation, an additional check up regarding the presence of recording equipment in commercial carrier has been planned on summer. It will affect many carriers and, by intention of Russian law-maker, should release from a lot of cases of current rules violation.

However, commercial carriers themselves are upbeat and only happy that the state takes steps to get rid of unfair competition and takes real actions to establish single rules for all market players.

Some of them, however, speak in the vein that additional checks will not help and violators will nevertheless find the way to get around the current law and invent new ways of scheming.
